Upcoming special events sponsored by Clay County nonprofits.
The Paul & Klare Reinhold Foundation hosts on its website a Community Nonprofit Events Calendar for the Clay County community. All nonprofit organizations providing services to Clay County residents are encouraged to add their community events to the calendar. This is another way to get the word out about your great events.
Below are ongoing programs being supported by Clay County nonprofits.

Blessings in a Backpack hosted by the Magnolia Point Women’s Club in Green Cove Springs is in its 4th year of providing less fortunate children with weekend meals. It’s a national program, but this is the only one in Clay County. They feed 145 children locally so that students don’t go hungry and can focus on being a good student. Support is provided by the club’s members and corporate sponsors. Find more info at: www.mpwc.org Source: Clay Today August 27, 2015
Miriam’s Basket was started by Linda Grabowski in 2011, in conjunction with Child Protective Services, to help provide clothing to children who have been victims of abuse, neglect, or personal tragedy. To date, they have provided over 900 children in Clay County with clothing in brightly-colored bags with the child’s name on the bag. These bags include new clothes, pajamas, shoes, socks, underwear, and coats, and an age-appropriate gift such as a bear.
