Making technology Work for Us

Reminders from last installment; own your domain name, your  email with should have  your domain name in the address, use a bulk email service, use Sign up genius for managing volunteer time – free, set up for invites and signing up working events, Intuit, GoPayment for instant credit card payments and always back up, crash plan.com is a great program.

Step two to manage technology

Feed in on Website from your Facebook page, needs to be set up by web master.

YouTube great tool to load a video, create your own channel with your own name.

Word press is set up as a blog, takes you step by step to set up, $12 allows for a domain name, link to it, set it up with a password to make it secure and use it to get ongoing news out to your targeted audience.

Try one step at a time.  This can be overwhelming, so sit down and make a plan.  Institute one area at a time.

Social Media Marketing

Social media extends your brand and your relationship with your customers, clients, volunteers, donors

Social media marketing sites are popular with almost everyone.  It is important to have a plan; who you want to reach, what you want to say and how often.  Many random posts to a non-targeted audience could lose you as many followers as you gain.

Word press has a social media suite that allows you to integrate with your web site.

Hootsuite.com is free and allows you to make one post that will go to all of your social media sights.
